Hi Community Members and Esteemed Experts.

I came across ChatGPT by openAI few days back. Yesterday, I tinkered with it in many ways to see its potential. One of them was trying to use it as a tool in the process of TDL development.

I am sharing the screenshots of my experiments. (Please Note - I am sharing almost all of the conversation regardless of success or failures, so that readers of thread remain unbiased). I recommend anyone curious to try it their own. Do share your experiences :)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Experiment 1. (AI thought I am talking about Tree Defination Language. :D Hehe , my bad.)

In first try I seemed ChatGPT had no idea about TDL syntax.

    But I kept trying.

    Experiment 2. (The argument )
It denied any help in this regards as TDL is a proprietary language. My point was- "TDL Developer is available as educational version also. It can be written in notepad also. Whole TDL development reference is made available on public domain by Tally Solutions private ltd itself."

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Experiment 3. (This is where all the magic happens ! ;))
Then I tried to train it using some sample TDL coded I was working on and another code from Tally Tech Master and some Tally sample code and asked it to interpret the code. I told it about its mistakes. I saw, now it was able to write some snippets of code. But it's understanding of TDL is far away compared to the one it has about other open source or globally used programming languages.

I think the outcomes are very intriguing. The code interpretations were particularly remarkable, but not 100 % accurate. I am sure its totally useless if one seeking some help does not have proper knowledge of TDL development and coding by himself / herself.

Please do share your thoughts. :)

    Cheers

Not totally useless, it depends on how you are using and for what you are using.
