Dear Experts, I have configured several voucher types under Multi-user Auto and have given Prefix Details with monthly numbering restart, the same I have configured till 31-Dec-2019 for almost 14 voucher types. Now I want to append Prefix Details till 31-Dec-2020, is there any possibility via TDL so that all my Prefix Details remain intact till 31-Dec-2019 and I can pull down new details from excel or XML file. I tried with XML file, but it is overwriting 31-Dec-2019 and updating with new ones, which I don't want. I want to have 31-Dec-2019 as it is and add further. Any guidance is highly appreciated. in the numbering.... select date as 1.1.2020 ... and define your prefix and suffix........it will apply to only vouchers on or after 1.1.2020 and your earlier vouchers will remain intact.
Thanks for guidance Amitji. Actually what I did was exported voucher types, copied one year PREFIXLIST into excel and replaced the year from 2019 to 2020, 2021, and so on and then new below code I pasted below in exported file and again imported with new ones. It worked very well. Suffix was yearly so did manually. I will try your solution for learning purpose now and will apply the same in future, to avoid copy / paste.
