Add a Column in the daybook.......before VoucherType

And then call for the field in your newly added field.

you can begin learning by doing it.... it is a small and simple TDL.........

Open Tally in Developer mode and find out the Field Name where you want it..........
Locate that field in Tally developer.........
And then try to add your own field before/after that field.......

And please do not use CAPS in your messages....... that is bad communication protocol.

 

This is a small program........ less than 20 lines.......... not bad for a learner....you can do it......

open TALLY in developer mode........... i assume you have downloaded and installed Tally developer, if not then download and install.

After installing....go to Windows...run command....type............D:\TALLY\Tally.ERP9\tally.exe /devmode (replace with your own tally path)

 

search in this thread for a POST on Cheque Numbers........... it is also a simple program..... take that code to ......." read and understand".

It is similar...... instead of cheque number you can try to get your buyer's details.
