      you can also try..
      Fetch Object : Voucher: (##CurrentVchId) : MasterID, PartyLedgerName, VoucherTypeName, Amount, Date, Narration
      at report level then you can directly get by referring to $MasterId anywhere in the report

        actually, I am altering a voucher in a function to store received data from the portal. in that to alter voucher i need master ID,
        now what i am doing is, wrote a collection to fetch the master id of the particular voucher.
        now the problem is speed, it takes too much time to find the master ID of the voucher.
        Please help me to increase the speed of function

      if you are already under voucher collection
      you can use Set: pExlVchId : "ID:"+ $$String:$MasterId
      if you are in edit/create mode use
      On: Load: NOT $$InCreateMode : Set: CurrentVchId : $$SPrintf:"ID:%s":@@CurrVchID
      at report level
